Shivek Ranjan is a senior oil and gas professional with over two decades of experience spanning upstream exploration and production, drilling, oilfield services, project execution, strategic sourcing, business development, M&A and corporate strategy.  Prior to joining Hindustan Silichem, Shivek held several leadership positions with Cairn Oil & Gas, where he was responsible for large-scale upstream projects, strategic sourcing, drilling programs, portfolio strategy and business partner management. As Chief Commercial Officer – Capex Projects, he managed procurement and execution processes supporting approximately US$1 billion of annual capital expenditure.  Shivek began his career with Schlumberger, where he spent more than a decade across field engineering, account management and operational leadership roles in India and Kuwait. As Dual Services Manager in Kuwait, he managed operations for nine onshore rigs, a team of 44 professionals and a business with approximately US$100 million in annual revenue, gaining extensive experience in drilling operations, oilfield services, P&L management and customer relationships.  His experience also includes management consulting with Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on strategy, cost transformation, procurement, organizational transformation and business restructuring projects across the Middle East.  At Hindustan Silichem, Shivek leads the Exploration & Production business, with responsibility for the company’s upstream portfolio, including exploration, development, production, drilling, asset performance and strategic growth initiatives.  Shivek holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
